ASAM PEDAS CLAYPOT UTM
The food that I would like to share with you all is asam pedas claypot. The reason that I share this asam pedas with you all is because the restaurant that I strongly recommended for asam pedas is located inside UTM. The full name of the restaurant is Restoran Asam Pedas Claypot UTM and the accurate location was at student mall, UTM. It was just opposite the FAB there. One of the most important reason that i recommended this restaurant is because it was HALAL. So what is so special about this asam pedas?
When we reach the restaurant the first thing that we should do is to choose the type of fish that we want. There are many types of fish we can choose. However stingrays was the fish that i always looking for. This is because i felt that the taste of asam pedas combine with stingrays are the best. Only this combination can fully express a good taste of asam pedas. After we had chose the fish, the chef will cook the fish together with the asam pedas sauce in the claypot. After a few minutes, a really good taste asam pedas was ready and served with white rice.
The asam pedas tasted a bit hot and sour, it was a perfect dishes to match with white rice and eat together. It had a unique taste that different from other asam pedas stalls. The most important thing is the asam pedas is hot when it was served. It was different with other food in UTM because other food is cooked earlier and some of them were already cold. For me the feeling of consuming a hot food i pretty good. Every time when i was there, with the combination of the hot and sour taste and the real hot pot food, i was able to eat 2 plates of white rice.
In conclusion, I strongly recommended all of the UTM student must go to student mall and try this asam pedas. I personally think that this is the best food i ever ate in UTM. Furthermore, student mall is quite near to the main FAB bus stand therefore it is very convenient for all the students to reach there and taste the unique hot and sour asam pedas in UTM.
