FILM REVIEW-(RED SORGHUM BY ZHANG YI MOU )

            On December 2014,I had watched a movie named Red Sorghum.The direstor of this film is Zhang Yi Mou who is a international filmmaker.The main actor of this film is Gong Li.After watching this movie,I think that this movie contains lots of moral values that are very suitable to teenagers nowadays.Nowadays,the teenagers are facing too many problems but they are the leaders of our country in future,so some good moral values need to be implementing in them.

            I think that, patriotism  is the main theme in this movie.This movie contains a part that happens during the Japan attacking Jiu’er country.Jiu’er ‘s friend,Luo Han had been killed by Imperial Japanese Army.However,Jiu’er does not afraid the Japan soldiers and want to take revenge for Jiu’er. Jiu’er incites the workers to take avenge and let them drink the liquor that contains urine.Jiu’er want the Japanese army to go out from China.Although at final Jiu’er had been killed by Japanese army.So,Jiu’er is a loyal person and she is loyal to her friends and also her country.I think,nowadays the teenagers are too selfish and they are also think about themselves only.They forget the responsibility to the country and need to sacrifice for the country during the war.Loyalty and patriotism are very important for each teenagers.All citizens in the country need patriotism so that it will not be colonized by others country.

            Secondly,I think that Jiu’er is a very hardworking women and never give up.Although her husband,Li Da Tou has been died and many workers want to resign for the job at the distillery but Jiu’er still take over the ownership of the distillery and advice all the workers continue to work.I agree that teenagers nowadays are too lazy.They neglect their studies and only focus on playing social network or online games.Besides that,they are also easy to give up when facing a small challenge. So,I think that teenagers requires to watch this movie and try to learn something from Jiu’er.

            In addtion,I think that Jiu’er are very respect to her parents.Although Jiu’er was a poor girl who was sent by her parents into a pre-arranged marriage with an old man, Li Datou, who owns a distillery but she does not try to offend her parents decision and still marries with that old men.This make me very respect to her due to her respectation to her parents.I think that nowadays too many teenagers are not respect to their parents especially when they are growing up.Some of them even send their parents to the old folk house.I think this need to be prevented from happening again.

            In conclusion,after watching this movie,I think I have learn lots of moral values and expericiences that are unable to learn in daily lessons. I know that the importance of patriotism to avoid our country from colonization by others country.So,I think that all the teenagers need to watch this movie.I like this movie very much.It is exciting and also interesting for me.
